National School of Languages

NSL offers weekly camps in English or French with a balance of interactive and communicative language classes and fun social and cultural activities. Students from around the world and Canada attend NSL’s unique language camps. Students have the choice of Day Camp, Camp with Host Family Accommodation and Camp with Residence. Start any week from June 30 to August 22, 2008. Established in 1998, NSL is accredited by CAPLS –Canadian Association of Private Language Schools and by IALC – International Association of Language Centres.
Activities:
In the mornings, the children are taught the spoken language by professional language teachers. In the afternoons, they are enjoy a variety of exciting activities such as Museum of Science and Technology, Mini-Golf, Beach Day, IMAX theatre and more. Each Saturday, the students go on an all day excursion to places like Montreal, Mont Cascades and Upper Canada Village to name a few.

Nepean Corona Gymnastics Camp

Our Staff are certified NCCP coaches, and are all fully certified instructors of FUN!

Option A (5+) - This program runs daily 9:00am – 4:00pm with pre and post care available. One of our most exciting camp programs, Not only will they participate in gymnastics but also all camp activities with lot’s of fun and exciting group games, various crafts, challenging activities, a daily swim at Carleton University and weekly outings.

Option B (5+) - This program runs daily 9:00am- 12:00noon pre & post care available. The children will participate in all camp activities, trust challenges, crafting and much more. They will be able to use all the gymnastics apparatus in the gym including floor, rings, trampolines, loose foam pit and MUCH MORE.

Option C (3-5)– This program runs daily 9:15am – 12:00. This is a fun and active program that promotes gross motor development, balance and your child’s ability to play and share with other children their age. While learning basic gymnastics skills, they will also be participating in group activities.

Rideau Canoe Club Summer Camp

If you’re bored, hot, and wondering what to do this summer why not do something that involves water, wind and fun. The Rideau Canoe Club is offering summer camps to kids of all ages. Our most exciting camp and best value is the Bantam Sprint Summer Camp which is offered from June 30 to August 17.

It’s only $300 for the whole season. The camp runs on weekdays from 9:00 am to noon. Kids between the ages of 9-14 years will learn how to canoe and kayak, work as a team, interact with great people and have a chance to compete. The coaching staff is excellent and everyone has a great time.

No experience is required although you have to be able to swim. Life jackets are provided. Sign up early so you can reserve space in the program! Although we never turn anyone away.

learning how to paddle, exercising, warcanoe, dragonboat, off water games, club barbeques.
